It was a long time ago. I was studying in a math class when I wrote my first code in Basic language. After that, code appeared in my life regularly.

My path to code

I'm a graduate journalist with work experience in media, PR & Marketing. A few years ago I accidentally took an introductory course in JavaScript. It was interesting for me.
In 2022 I passed a free marathon of HTML/CSS and saw that I was able to code something, and it can be like to me. After that, I passed the SheCodes courses: from basic to plus. There I learned to create landings like this one. Also, I  created my first web applications. You can view them in the Projects section. In SheCodes I received my first experience in React.
I'm not a young applicant, my age plays against me every time I apply for a new job. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to switch to development. But I've made this step, I'm already on this path and think my skills in front-end development can be a great chance to find myself in the tech industry and to be helpful.

My life out of code

I live in one of the most beautiful places in Ukraine - the medieval city of Lviv. I love traveling, reading books, watching movies and theatre performances. Baking home bread is my old hobby. However, what really makes me happy is sport activities.
